Supporting primary school students requiring additional support to stay engaged at school.
~ express yourself through art ~
Participating school invited 9 of their students requiring additional support to join the one term program. The programs run by a teacher of the school, and most often this is the art teacher in conjunction with the school support person.
Students are required to produce a piece of art that expresses how they get through difficult times. This can be a drawing, painting, photo or sculpture.
At the end of the term the students work becomes part of the LifeScope Art Exhibition where there work is displayed and listed alongside other artists.
This program helps the student to identify a challenge in their life, and identify the tools that may use to help them get through it.
